December set the beginning of the cold flow test campaign for the rocket JFCR-2000A. The objective of the test campaign is to ensure the proper operation of the tanks and the fuel feed system before proceeding to the execution of ignition tests.
With the execution of these tests we are a step closer in the attainment of a suborbital launching platform for nano-satellites.
During this campaign a series of tests using nitrogen and water will be executed to check that there are no leakages in the fuel feed system and to measure the pressure drop caused by the different valves and regulators.
The cold flow tests are being performed in the site of Cuantum Labs in the city of San Luis Potosi. The tests are scheduled for be executed during December and the first days of January. Once the cold flow test are finished we will proceed to the planning and the training for the beginning of the ignition tests.
Soon we will have more information about the development of the rocket
